Visit Locations other Tours do not including Gibraltar's famous Mediterranean Steps
My name is Stephen I am originally from the UK but now I am fortunate enough to be able to call Gibraltar my home. I have been fascinated by Gibraltar's history ever since my first visit in the early 1990's. I especially love walking around the Upper Rock and I hope to get the chance to meet you and show you a few of the attractions that Gibraltar has to offer.
The attractions visited include
Devil’s Gap Battery
The Genoese Battery
The Apes Den
The Windsor Bridge
The Queens Lookout
St Michaels Cave
The Pillars of Hercules
The Mediterranean Steps
O’Hara’s Battery (The Highest Point)
The Sky Walkway
The Top of the Charles V Steps
The Cable Car Top Station
The Great Siege Tunnels (**See Details**)
The Viewing Platform on Willis Road
The Tour will end in the Centre of the Town
The duration of this Tour will be in the region of 3 hours and we proceed at a leisurely pace which is set by the participants as we walk up the Rock.
There will be numerous photo opportunities along the route. You will get the chance to see some stunning views and many of the historical military sites that are found in the Upper Rock.
I can take you to places that you would not usually visit if you go up by taxi or mini bus and I guarantee that you will always see some of Gibraltar’s world famous Monkeys.
The paths along the Upper Rock can be a little uneven therefore we recommend you wear suitable shoes and that you also bring along a bottle of water, because it can get quite hot in the summer months.
A Face Mask is currently required to enter St Michaels Cave and the Great Siege Tunnels so please remember to bring one.
The current price to enter the Nature Reserve and all the attractions is £13.00 and you can pay in Euro’s if you prefer.
** Please note that we do not always enter the Great Siege Tunnels, however if you would like to do so then please message me so this can be arranged. You will need to allow roughly an extra hour to visit them **.
The meeting point will be Library Ramp which is across from the front entrance to the Eliott Hotel in the City centre. I will be at the bottom of Library Ramp, under the Library Ramp Street Sign, and wearing a Gibraltar Official Licenced Guide Badge.

Great tour! nice guy and sensed really well what intrested us, so oftentimes he skipped historic facts we were not intrested in to talk with us about topics from gibraltar and the uk that fitted the audiance much better.
This was a fantastic and challenging walk right around the rock! Stephen made the difference,
informative, friendly, encouraging and let us walk at our own steady pace. This experience
exceeded our expectations. It is the best walking tour we have been on and we learned and saw so much. Unforgettable views. Thanks Stephen.
Stephen was outgoing and courteous. He was very knowledgeable of the walking paths and trails.
while on the tour, he gave us the option of a longer but more scenic route, which we took.
Although advertised as a 2- hour tour, we took just over 4 hours, which made for a stellar day with tons of scenic views and photo ops. If you’re short on time in gib definitely seek out Stephen to see the essentials of the rock.
Was an amazing time, if you visit gibraltar you most book this tour. I recommend you to take water with you and comfortable shoes. Thanks stephen for the nice hiking experience.
The tour was great, the views from the top of the rock were impressive and the guide was very
informative. Highly recommended and my thanks to Stephen.
Stephen was a great guide through our tour. He was really kind and very friendly with us along the entire walk. Highly recommended.
If the day or the time of the Standard Tour is not convenient then please let me know and I will do my best to arrange something more suitable for you.
I can customise the length and the route of the Tour to suit your requirements and we can also arrange a Tour that starts at the Top and walks down the Rock.
